Reflection 08/08/12

Today in creative media Georgia was away which put us behind even more but I still got some animation done. Mr. Andrews taught me in todays lesson how to video me jogging and then put in behind the animation that I am making so I can make the body movements all similar and make it more smooth. This as I am now more aware of the different movements that it takes for my character to jog. But then again this is also harder with our character as he isnt as stable as a normal human being.

This was a scene that Georgia and I did today. I feel that this scene we did was very good and the best we have done so far!

Scene 1

Made a new character and a dog!

The first little man Georgia and I made out of clay was good, but was not good enough. We made it out of clay (obviously) and each time we moved it to make it walk or what ever we wanted it to do, it would disfigure. This was very annoying as our character became more and more un-human looking! Here are some pictures of the new and old character and the dog.

This was the first bit of filming we did last term. I just didnt know how to upload it so that is why I put it up this term.

5 things that stood out in book animation

5 THINGS

1.The Colosseum really stood out to me during this animation in the way of how it was made out of that one particular book. All this book had was cuts out of it which than ran through to the next page which made the columns. 

2. The next thing that stood out was the double deck bus from England for some reason.

3. All the people walking really confused me in the animation as I was trying to follow the one that we followed at the start.

4.  I thought the birds were really creative.

5. and lastly, I thought the idea of making the cinema out of books was really creative as it looked so surreal.

Today in creative media we had a big talk about the expectations for the term and also watched an animation. :)
