Introduction

Reflection 22/08/12

Today in Creative Media Mr. Andrews taught us about how to put all our scenes in one to figure out what our final product would look like. He thought this would be good for as we will get more of an idea of what our final product would look like and if we need to shoot anymore scenes to make it look more smooth. I am not too sure if Georgia and I will have to do this as we have covered a fair few of our scenes pretty well but we may have to re shoot a couple! Georgia and I added the times of all our scenes together and we ended up getting a final time of 1min! This was a bit sure so we started to think or other ideas. We watched a few animation videos on youtube and we discovered this one that is like a book opening and closing. We thought to introduce the title of our movie we could have the book title appear with us firstly writing it and then coloring it in. Then "by Lauren and Georgia" will slide on as one piece. I know this may not seem to good in words but when we actually do it with animation it will look really affective. Then the book will open and our movie will appear. At the very end of the film the book will then close and reopen so that when it opens this time the credits will be written on. So each shot Georgia and I will write a little bit more every time and will look as if someone is writing this. By doing the opening and finish like this it should put on more time to help with the length of her video. As this is animation Mr. Andrews said he would include it as the time in our final product even though credits aren't usually included. This will also make our animation look alot more affective and creative. I am really looking forward to the end product of our animation and too see everyones end product. I think Georgia and my end product will be pretty affective even though we have both been away a fair bit this term. I think that I have defiantly improved on animating our little character as the girl and Mr.Andrews will see as it gets better scene by scene.

This was one of the very first scenes Georgia and I completed. We are still not completely sure if we are going to use it because we may have time to re-shoot it!

Reflection 08/08/12

Today in creative media Georgia was away which put us behind even more but I still got some animation done. Mr. Andrews taught me in todays lesson how to video me jogging and then put in behind the animation that I am making so I can make the body movements all similar and make it more smooth. This as I am now more aware of the different movements that it takes for my character to jog. But then again this is also harder with our character as he isnt as stable as a normal human being.

This was a scene that Georgia and I did today. I feel that this scene we did was very good and the best we have done so far!

Scene 1

Made a new character and a dog!

The first little man Georgia and I made out of clay was good, but was not good enough. We made it out of clay (obviously) and each time we moved it to make it walk or what ever we wanted it to do, it would disfigure. This was very annoying as our character became more and more un-human looking! Here are some pictures of the new and old character and the dog.
